A recycled part is a part that was already built.
Not a second-rate copy of a new one — the same component, made by the same manufacturer, pulled from a vehicle that isn’t going to need it again. The question worth asking isn’t whether it’s as good. It’s whether whoever sold it to you actually checked.
What “quality checked” means here
It’s an easy phrase to put on a website, so here is what it actually involves. Every mechanical part is checked, tested and cleaned before it is offered for sale — engines and gearboxes included. Radiators are pressure checked. Electrical components are tested. Panels are sold as inspected, and photographed on request.
That’s the difference between an auto parts recycler and a scrap yard: the part arrives ready to fit, not ready to inspect. It’s also why every unit gets tagged with its make, model and year the moment it comes off the vehicle — a part nobody can identify is a part nobody can sell.
When recycled is the right call
Recycled wins on discontinued models, on body panels where colour matching matters, on complete assemblies that would cost a fortune new, and on any repair where the economics of the job won’t carry a new part. It wins on availability too — stock turns over here every week.
It isn’t always the answer, and we’ll say so. Wear items, safety-critical components with a service life, and anything where a new part is barely dearer are better bought new — which is why we also supply new, aftermarket, reconditioned and rebuilt parts. One call covers both.

What warranty comes with a recycled part?
All mechanical parts carry a 90-day warranty from the date of purchase, with unlimited kilometres, unless the invoice says otherwise. Truck and performance parts carry 30 days. Electrical components carry 30 days and are replacement only — no refunds on electrical. Extended warranty is available; ask at the counter. Warranties cover the part only, not labour, towing, downtime or loss of income.
How do I keep my engine or gearbox warranty valid?
Before you fit it: flush the radiator and cooling system, and renew all belts, hoses, the radiator cap, spark plugs, oil and the oil filter. On a diesel, have the injectors and injector pump serviced and replace the fuel filter. Warranty is void if failure was caused by incorrect or missing oil or fuel, overheating or a missing heat tab, poor maintenance, unauthorised repairs or dismantling, incorrect installation, or accident damage, overloading and misuse. If you see any early sign of a malfunction, stop the vehicle straight away and ring us — running it on can cause further damage and void the warranty.
Can I return a part?
Yes, within 7 days, and only if it comes back in the same condition it was sold in. No returns on cut sections, no returns on special buy-ins, and please do not dismantle the part. Panels and interior parts are sold as inspected — if we supplied the wrong model, you get a full refund. Getting the make, model and body type right is the customer's call, so tell us as much as you can when you order.

Do you sell new parts as well as recycled?
We do. Alongside recycled stock we supply new, aftermarket, reconditioned and rebuilt parts for all makes and models — so if a recycled unit is not the right answer for your job, you still only have to make one call.
